London Natural History Society - The place for wildlife in London

Pete Lambert is currently handling the role of Field Meetings Secretary in addition to chairing the Editorial Board of the London Bird Report which is a demanding role. Pete would like to hand over the field meetings role.

The Field Meetings Secretary coordinates (mainly by email) with a well-established circuit of LNHS walk leaders to put on a programme of a dozen or so nature walks for each of two programmes covering a six month span. The post holder does not have to attend any of the meetings, although it is likely that applicants would have attended one or more of these nature walks. As with other LNHS volunteer roles, the role will appeal to someone with the time to help the LNHS maintain its active programme or for someone looking to gain volunteering experience in conservation. Pete will be available to share the work up to the programme for Sep 2017-Feb 2018, to help transition a new comer.
