The London Natural History Society is a long established conservation and wildlife recording charity run entirely by volunteers. Getting involved in the LNHS is a great way to make a difference, meet new people, learn new skills and learn about the wildlife and natural history of London. There are many ways to get involved: there are roles on different committees (see below), or you can contribute articles to the LNHS publications and website.
Current vacancies
LNHS Treasurer
We are looking for a new Treasurer as the current postholder Mike West is standing down after 32 years. We would like to hear from people with an interest in nature who are sympathetic to the objectives of the Society and have some experience of budgets/finance/accounting or charity management, and are comfortable working with spreadsheets. The retiring Treasurer is very keen to ensure a complete and successful handover and is happy to support the new appointee through the transition.
